The 84th Minnesota State FFA Convention was held at the University of Minnesota April 27-30. More than 3,000 members from all across Minnesota were in attendance. Dan Gerlach, Brad Gerlach and Bryer Kruse completed April 28 in the Agricultural Mechanics career development event while at state convention. Many members competed in an array of career development events from livestock judging to floriculture to public speaking. The team placed fifth out of 28 teams.

Dan Gerlach placed sixth out of 102 individuals. Kruse placed 28th individually and Brad Gerlach placed 46th. Brad Gerlach applied and was accepted in the State FFA Band. The band played several songs throughout the awards program.
