American Legion Auxiliary Unit 91

The Austin American Legion Auxiliary Unit 91 inducted two members during its annual initiation ceremony on Wednesday, March 13 at the club. Welcome Carol Conner and Char Clark. Unit 91 has 206 paid members.

Americanism Awards Day will take place Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. at the club. The next auxiliary meeting will be on Wednesday, April 10.

 Duplicate Bridge

Tournament results for March 27 with five tables played: first, Gus Brandt and Stan Schultz; second, Tom Flaherty and David Magee; third, Orrion Roisen and David Ring tied with Bud Higgins and Jim Fisher; fourth, Vandy Newman and Gene Muchow.

Duplicate Bridge is played each Wednesday at noon at the Village Cooperative in Austin, 2301 10th St. NW, Exit 177 off I-90, two blocks north of Walmart. All Bridge players are welcome. Call Dave Ring at 507-434-4189 for partnership assistance or additional information.
