Norma Mae Nordstrom, 81, passed away peacefully, April 24, 2013, at Heritage House in Brainerd, Minn.

Norma was born May 2, 1931, in Rochester, Minn., to Ira and Dorothy (Pervin) Green. She was a member of Homestead United Methodist Church in Rochester, Minn. Norma enjoyed sewing, crafts and shopping. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards and she loved to dance, but above all Norma loved spending time and making memories with her family.

Norma is survived by her children, Ronda (John) Hinck of Waltham, Minn., Diane (Rick) Knotts of Powder Springs, Ga., Mike (Dawn) Kaderabek of Racine, Minn., David Papenfus of Rochester; grandchildren, Alicia (Bob) Hoiseth, Adam (Laura) Kaderabek and Melissa Kaderabek; sister, Jeanette (Bill) of Monroe, N.C.; brothers, George (Mary) Green of Sweetwater, Tenn., Jerry (Gloria) Green of Pine Island, Minn., and Raymond Green of Owatonna, Minn. Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Myron “Red” Kaderabek and Jerry Nordstrom; son, Gordon Kade; sister, Marie; and brother, Russell.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester, Minn. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Pastor James Beyer will officiate, with interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery in Austin, Minn. Memorials may be made to the family.
