Hayfield baseball team falls to KoMets

KASSON — The Hayfield baseball team struggled with errors as it lost 13-3 in five innings to Kasson-Mantorville (1-0 overall, 1-0 HVL) on the road Tuesday.

The Vikings (0-3 overall, 0-3 HVL) committed eight errors in the last three innings and they had nine total miscues in the loss.

“It was ugly,” Hayfield head coach Kasey Krekling said. “It was like we hadn’t played baseball before.”
