Alumni update: Former BP softball players are stepping up

SOFTBALL

After missing most of her freshman season with an injury, Blooming Prairie grad Erica Manske is off to a solid start this season at Luther College (13-3 overall).

Manske is 4-0 with an ERA of 4.83. She has struck out 22 in 33.1 innings of work.

Blooming Prairie grad Tayla Jones has played in 14 games for Waldorf College (15-13 overall) this season.

Jones is hitting .310 with three doubles, 2 RBIs and has an on-base percentage of .355.

BASEBALL

Austin grad Mark Harber has played in four games for St. Scholastica (9-4 overall) and he is 1-for-3 with a walk.

GOLF

Austin grad Catherine Wagner, who won the Division III national title last season, has played 11 rounds for University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this season with team’s best average of 80.2.

Wagner made the All-WIAC team for the fourth time in her career this past fall and she took second place in the WIAC Championship for the second straight year.

Austin grad Drew Osier has played eight rounds at Central College in Pella, Iowa this season and he is averaging a score of 81.3. Osier finished tied for 18th out of 23 golfers at the Illinois-Springfield Spring Flight March 13.
