Hormel Foods Corp. announced today it was recognized for outstanding partnership in two categories by Walmart at the world’s largest retailer’s year-end award ceremony.

Hormel Foods was honored for providing superior customer service and for being a collaborative, innovative and valued partner during its 2013 fiscal year. Included in the recognition were the company’s subsidiaries Jennie-O Turkey Store and Farmer John, its Specialty Foods business unit, and MegaMex, the joint venture between Hormel Foods and Herdez del Fuerte.

In 2012, Walmart named Hormel its Supplier of the Year for overall best supplier performance and partnership.
