Bruins close out regular season with a win

ONALASKA, WIS. — The Austin Bruins finished their regular season with a 5-1 win over Coulee Region (16-39-5 overall) on the road Saturday.

Jason Pawloski stopped 34 shots for Austin (42-11-7 overall), while Nate Mondry, Josh Bretner and AJ Reid all had a goal and an assist.

The Bruins will open the first round of the NAHL Central Division playoffs when they host Minot April 13 and April 14 at 7:05 p.m. in Riverside Arena for the first two games in a best-of-five series.
