Austin High School will provide free ACT tests to all junior and senior high school students on April 23. The ACT test normally costs students $35 and is administered on a Saturday. At AHS, the test will be free to any junior or senior that wishes to take it and will take place during the school day.

The ACT is accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States.

Austin Community Education offers an ACT preparation workshop to teach students strategies for answering specific question types and general test taking tips. Enrollment is available online at www.zaps.com or by calling 877-927-8378.
