AHS fan buses leave at 3 p.m. Saturday

Austin High School has reserved six fan buses for the game Packers state basketball game Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Cost will be $6 to ride the AHS student fan school bus and $10 for adults and all non-AHS students accompanied by an adult chaperone. Permission slips will be available at the AHS Cashier’s office on Friday until 3 p.m. and also on the Austin Public Schools web site at www.austin.k12.mn.us.

Signed permission slips and bus money can be turned in to the Cashier’s Office on Friday until 3 p.m. or on Saturday from 8-10 a.m. The school’s east main door and west annex will be open Saturday morning for sign ups.

Fan buses will load at 2:45 p.m. and depart at 3 p.m. and return to Austin around 11 p.m.

    Would have been nice to have a fan bus for the dance teams state competition. They had a lot of support from the great supporters that drove themselves but a bus may have really added what the team needed to push them that last little bit.
