Update: Schools close early in response to weather

The following school districts have announced they will close early Monday in response to weather conditions.
—Lyle and Grand Meadow schools will close at noon.
—LeRoy-Ostrander and Southland schools will close at 11:30 a.m. with no evening activities. The Southland school board meeting has been postponed to Wednesday.
—Brownsdale will close at 10:10 and Hayfield will close at 10:30 a.m., with all evening activities canceled.
—Blooming Prairie schools will dismiss at 10:45 a.m.
—Austin Public Schools will release at the following times: Community Learning Center, 11 a.m.; Woodson Kindergarten Center, noon; elementary schools 12:35 p.m.; Ellis Middle School, 12:50 p.m.; Austin High School, 12:55 p.m. Kids Korner will close at 4 p.m.
