Medical examiners in Olmsted and Ramsey counties have not yet released autopsy results from a suspected homicide in Austin on Feb. 1.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is also still investigating the case, in which officials believe 46-year-old Craig Seberson killed his 86-year-old father, Dennis Seberson, in the front yard of apartments at 510 Fourth St. NW at about 3 a.m. Craig died near Waseca at 4:03 a.m. after a police chase reached speeds of 130 mph, and Craig’s vehicle rolled into a ditch and ejected him, according to the BCA. Reports simply stated Dennis died of blunt-force trauma to the head.

Authorities cordoned off the neighborhood for nearly a day while they investigated.

BCA officials would not say when the investigation may be complete. Autopsy results could take more than 60 days after the incident.

Mower County Attorney Kristen Nelsen said her office would review the investigation and determine whether Craig would criminally charged. If so, that would end the case.
