Sherrie A. (Goslee Martin) Caven, 69, of Wabasha, Minn., died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester, Minn.

Sherrie was born March 24, 1943, in Austin, Minn., the daughter of Clinton and Evelyn (Mowers) Goslee. She married Allen Martin in 1958 in Austin. They divorced in 1970. She married Frank Caven April 4, 1992, in Wabasha. He died Oct. 1, 2002.

Sherrie worked as a bartender for many years. She also did housekeeping for the Reinhardt and Bouquet families in Wabasha. She enjoyed gardening, bowling and collecting angels. She also loved putting puzzles together and working crossword puzzles. She was a fan of NASCAR as well.

She is survived by children and their spouses, Kim and Larry Zomok, Wabasha, Todd and Julie Martin, Circle Pines, Minn., Clayton Martin, Hayfield, Minn., Michelle Martin (Ty Kline), Fridley, Minn., Angie and Tim Edelbach, Hayfield, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Allen and Janette Goslee, Eagle, Neb.; step-brothers and spouses, Mike and Delores Cox, Shell Lake, Wis., Mark and Doreen Cox, Wabasha; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; son, Allen Martin Jr.; granddaughter, Amber Richard; and her parents, Clinton Goslee and Evelyn Goslee Cox.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at 7 p.m. with the Rev. David Knox officiating. Her body will be cremated following the service. Family and friends may call at the Abbott Funeral Home in Wabasha on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service. The family prefers memorials.
