Police are investigating two Sunday morning fights at the El Parral Ballroom that sent three people in the hospital.

According to the police reports, police were at the ballroom at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday and arrested a 36-year-old Blooming Prairie man who reportedly smashed a beer bottle over a 26-year-old man’s head. The victim went to the hospital in Austin and was bleeding from the left side of his head.

The suspect could be charged with second-degree assault.

Another fight reportedly involved three Albert Lea men. Of those three, a 26-year-old suspect has not yet been found. The two victims, 17 and 42, were treated for a head injury and a hand laceration, respectively.
