Rebel girls clinch a share of Three Rivers title

RUSHFORD — The Southland girls basketball team outscored Rushford-Peterson (11-10 overall, 7-11 Three Rivers) 49-22 in the second half as it clinched a share of its second straight Three Rivers Conference title on the road Thursday.

The Rebels (20-3 overall, 17-1 Three Rivers) came back to win 86-72.

Jana Schammel led Southland with 26 points and Haley Kirkpatrick added 24 points.
