The Austin girls basketball team closed out its regular season with a 67-45 loss to Rochester John Marshall (13-12 overall, 9-9 Big Nine) in Ove Berven Gym Saturday.

Steph Justice led the Packers (9-15 overall, 6-12 Big Nine).

The Packers, who finished eighth in the Big Nine Conference, will open the Section 1AAA girls basketball tournament when they host No. 5 seeded Waseca Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Austin beat Waseca (16-9 overall) 74-54 Dec. 20.
