Hagen scores 33 as Blooming Prairie girls roll

MEDFORD — Blooming Prairie sophomore Taylor Hagen tallied a career-high 33 points to go along with 12 rebounds as the Awesome Blossoms beat Medford (6-13 overall, 3-7 Gopher) 64-51 in a girls basketball game on the road Friday.

Madison Worke added 10 points, 10 rebounds and four assists for BP (15-5 overall, 9-1 Gopher).

“It was nice to score this many points after a tough game the night before,” BP head coach John Worke said. “I was proud of the girls to come out and beat a team and control it from start to finish.”
