GRAND MEADOW — The No. 3 Grand Meadow girls basketball team beat No. 6 Mabel-Canton (13-13 overall) 59-48 in the first round of the Section 1A East tournament in GM Thursday.

Audra Durhman had 20 points and 10 rebounds for GM (16-10 overall) and Ashley Crumb had seven steals.

GM will play No. 2 Spring Grove in the semifinals at Mayo Auditorium Monday at 7:30 p.m.

No. 4 seeded LeRoy-Ostrander, which beat Hope Lutheran 56-35 will play No. 1 Rushford-Peterson at the Mayo Auditorium at 6 p.m.
