Dolores Genevieve VonFeldt, 93, of Austin, Minn., died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at her home.

Dolores was born Oct. 26, 1919, in Stacyville, Iowa, to John and Ida (Kramer) Meyerhofer. She grew up among ten other brothers and sisters. As a young woman, she moved to Austin where she met, fell in love with and married Albert J. VonFeldt on Feb. 3, 1940.
The couple resided in Austin their entire life and raised six children. Albert preceded her in death in 1990.
Dolores was a lifelong member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. She enjoyed family, friends, golf, sewing and playing cards.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane (John) Mandernach, Moose Lake, Minn.; sons, Nolan (Kathy) VonFeldt, Collinsville, Ill., Chuck (Judy) VonFeldt, Hugo, Minn., Tom (Bette) VonFeldt, Madison, Wis., Vernon (Denise) VonFeldt, Aurora, Colo., Jim (Andrea) VonFeldt, Germantown Hills, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one brother; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
Dolores has been accorded cremation and a memorial remembrance of her life among family and friends will be celebrated on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Jim Steffes officiating. Arrangements by Mayer Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.mayerfh.com.
