David Jerome Miller, 63, of Austin, Minn., died unexpectedly at the Twin Towers on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.

David was born May 27, 1949, in Austin to Robert and Mabel Miller. He grew up in Austin, where he graduated from high school. David was the assistant manager of the Sinclair stations for 10 years and after that he worked at the thrift store at the Mower County Senior Center.
David enjoyed playing darts, attending hockey games, playing cards and going to the casino.
Survivors include two sisters, Darlene Bos, Austin, and Chris Castle, Rochester; a brother, Ronald (Judy) Miller, Austin; sister-in-law, Sharon Miller, Austin; nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Darwin “Teats” Miller and Jim Miller; his niece, Tammy Bos.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Mayer Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Christiansen officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at Mayer Funeral Home on Tuesday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
