The Austin gymnastics team bounced back from the winter break with a 141.550-137.925 win over Faribault at the Austin YMCA Thursday.

Austin junior Sela Fadness won the all-around as she took first on the vault, second on bars, first on beam, and fourth on the floor.

“For the first meet after the break, I thought we did a little better than expected,” Austin head coach Mark Raymond said. “During the break we spent a lot of time adding additional skills to the current routines to increase difficulty. The added difficulty will pay off by the end of the season when the kids are use to the skills and have had a chance to clean them up.”
