Nancy Peck, 81, of Grand Meadow, Minn., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the Grand Meadow Health Care Center where she had resided for a short time.

Nancy Ann Peck was born July 10, 1931, in Pipestone, Minn., to Warren and Dorothy (Peck) Hubbard. She graduated from Mankato High School and was united in marriage to Roger Peck on Dec. 27, 1952, in Mankato, Minn. Nancy was a homemaker and worked as a nurse’s aid at Meadow Manor Nursing Home for more than 15 years. She enjoyed reading, taking care of her cats and truly enjoyed the time she spent with the ladies in the “Red Hat Society.”

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Dori) Peck of Montevideo, Minn.; Thomas (Julie) Peck and Tracy (Mark) Jacobson both of Grand Meadow; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Phyllis Olinger of Mankato. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger, on May 11, 2003; one son, David Peck; and her brother Tedd Hubbard.

Funeral services for Nancy A. Peck will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at the United Church of Grand Meadow. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin. Friends may call at the Hindt Funeral Home in Grand Meadow from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
