Mower County is now accepting land documents for e-recording through Simplifile, one the nation’s largest and fastest-growing electronic recording service providers.

“Mower County recorder’s office is excited to offer e-recording services and the ability to enhance our services to the public and our submitters,” said Recorder Jill Cordes said in a press release.

E-Recording allows people and organizations to submit land documents for recording via online rather than traditional delivery by mail or courier service.

Title companies and banks that submit documents daily will be able to save on travel time and mail costs by submitting their documents through Simplifile’s online e-recording service.

Mower County joins 42 Minnesota counties including Hennepin, Stearns, Wright, Anoka, and Dakota counties who also offer e-recording with Simplifile.

“With more than 800 counties using Simplifile today, it’s safe to say that e-recording has evolved into a mainstream service,” said Simplifile President Paul Clifford in a press release. “We’re happy to be leading the way and helping to equip each new county with the tools they need to successfully e-record.”
