Meyer scores 1,000th point as LP boys win

GLENVILLE — Lyle-Pacelli senior Skylar Meyer scored his 1,000th career point as the Athletics blew past Glenville-Emmons (1-8 overall, 1-5 SEC) 69-35 on the road Tuesday.

Meyer, who led LP (6-4 overall, 5-2 SEC) with 26 points, scored his milestone point with 12:38 left in the game.

“We shot out of the gates and we’re playing well right now,” LP head coach Casey Anderson said. “The kids are playing as a team and everyone’s working together.”
