Hayfield girls beat Kasson-Mantorville for fifth straight win

KASSON — The Hayfield girls basketball team won its fifth straight game when it beat Kasson-Mantorville (9-5 overall, 2-1 HVL Gold) 64-59 on the road Friday.

Dani Wagner scored 16 points to lead the Vikings (8-3 overall, 2-0 HVL Gold).

“We didn’t shoot particularly well, but we had a enough gas in the tank to finish it off,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.
