The Riverland men’s basketball team struggled to find its offense as it lost 82-50 to Rochester Community and Technical College in Riverland Wednesday.

The Blue Devils (9-7 overall, 2-1 MCAC South) shot just 32 percent from the field, they committed 21 turnovers and they were out-rebounded 46-31.

RCTC (13-3 overall, 3-0 MCAC South) dominated on the defensive end as it held RCC’s top scorer, Zach Bunch to just one point on the night.

Andrew Lau led RCC with 16 points.

Lau, a freshman from Glenville-Emmons was recently recognized as MCAC South player of the week as he had 24 points and nine rebounds in back-to-back games last week. He shot 71 percent from the field, 57 percent from the three-point line and 71 percent from the free throw line in a pair of wins for RCC.
