Veldman and Friends returning to the Paramount

Austin’s beloved Michael Veldman, Kaye Perry, Erin Schumacher, and Brain Bawek, also know as Michael Veldman and Friends, will return to the Historic Paramount Theatre for the 2013 holiday season in celebration of their 10th anniversary.

Performances will be Dec. 13, 14, 20 and 21. Although Michael Veldman and Friends have been wowing Paramount audiences since 2001, they surprisingly haven’t celebrated their 10th Anniversary.

The group took a hiatus from the popular show in 2007, 2011 and 2012, and felt they owed it to their patrons to give them the official 10th anniversary performance.

The Austin Area Commission for the Arts has been in discussions with the group about a comeback performance for some time, and this holiday season finally worked. Both the AACA board of directors and staff are excited about bringing the show back to the Paramount.

We constantly receive feedback from patrons about the quality of the show and inquiries as to when it will be returning. Now is the perfect time to bring audiences what they want, and they want to see Michael Veldman, Kaye Perry, Erin Schumacher, and Brian Bawek at the holidays.

Tickets will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 exclusively at the Paramount Theatre. The tickets will be available online at paramounttheatre.org starting at noon that day.

Special opportunities to purchase presale tickets will be announced this summer.

Until then, don’t miss all the other wonderful events happening at Paramount. Especially the Northwestern Singers’ winter concert “Hooked on Country” at 7 p.m. this Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets for this fun-filled performance are available online at paramounttheatre.org or by calling the box office at 434-0934.
