The funeral service for Peggy L. Pechacek of Albert Lea will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Albert Lea. The Rev. John Holt will officiate.

Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea and one hour before the service at the church.

Peggy died suddenly, Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at her home. She was 62 years old.

Peggy was born April 30, 1950, in Albert Lea, to Warren and Elgy Wulff. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1968. She continued her education in nursing and graduated with a registered nursing degree from St. Barnabas Hospital, Minneapolis, in 1971. Peggy was an active member of First Lutheran Church. She had been a Sunday school teacher and Sunday school superintendent. She was now helping as a sound technician. Peggy married Noel Pechacek on Dec. 1, 1979, at First Lutheran Church. She belonged to Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed watching sports, especially the Twins, Gophers and Vikings. The highlight of her life was when they adopted their daughter, Heidi. Peggy was a longtime employee as a nurse for Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.

Peggy is survived by her daughter: Heidi Kinnard and her husband Andrew of Albert Lea; two brothers: Lowell Wulff and his wife Paulette of Albert Lea, Larry Wulff and his wife Elaine of Albert Lea; nieces and nephews: Michelle (Kurt) Mortensen, Chad (Meghan) Wulff, Brett (Sarah) Wulff, Kari Wulff, Matthew (Emily) Wulff, Kristin (fiancée Brain Bauman) Wulff and David (fiancée Maria Denow) Wulff; great nieces and nephews: Conrad, Spencer, Jacklyn and Brannigan Mortensen; Alex and Clare Wulff, Alicen Wulff, and Ella Wulff; brothers-in-law: Norman (Cynthia) Pechacek and Miles Pechacek.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents: Warren and Elgy Wulff; husband: Noel Pechacek Dec. 19, 2002; parents-in-law: Andrew and Phyllis Pechacek; brother-in-law: Vance Pechacek.
