A Dexter man arrested after a mother told authorities the man sexually molested one of her children has pleaded not guilty in Mower County Court.

Jesse Steven Shulze, 31, pleaded not guilty to five counts of criminal sexual conduct, including acts with a victim younger than 13.

According to the court complaint, the then pre-teen victims say Shulze, 31, sexually molested one of them about 2 .5 years ago. The victims say Shulze would also watch them while they slept and threatened to choke them if they spoke up about the alleged assault, according to the Mower County Court complaint.

Shulze demanded a speedy trial on Thursday, and no further court date has yet been set.
