Austin police officers confiscated two BB guns Monday after two boys, 13 and 14, allegedly shot at geese on East Side Lake.

Someone called police and mentioned the boys were shooting at the geese. An officer spoke to the youngsters, who said they were only shooting at the water. The officer took the guns and placed them in the police department’s evidence locker.

A report has been forwarded to the county attorney’s office.
