Rebel boys hit nine threes in win over Blossoms

BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Southland boys basketball team came out shooting as they drained nine threes in a 76-53 win at Blooming Prairie Friday.

Luke Anderson and Sam Klaehn each poured in a career-high 17 points and Nick Schmitz added 16 points for the Rebels (6-0 overall).

“We came out shooting very well and our transition defense was solid,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said. “We went full throttle.”

John Rumpza led BP (2-3 overall) with 18 points.
