ST. PAUL — The Packer boys basketball team rattled off their eighth straight win to start the season when they beat Eastview (3-4 overall) 68-63 in St. Paul Saturday.

The No. 2 ranked Packers (8-0 overall) struggled in the first half as they went just 7-of-27 from the field in the first half.

“Wessels got us going in the start of the second half and then Joe caught fire,” Austin head coach Kris Fadness said. “It was a really good win for us.”
