Viking girls beat St. Clair

ST. CLAIR — The Hayfield girls basketball team held St. Clair (5-5 overall) to five points in the second half as the Vikings won 63-24 in the second round of the St. Clair Tournament Friday.

The Vikings (6-3 overall) will now play in the tournament title game Saturday at 8:15 p.m.

“We played great defense in the second half,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.

Hayfield junior Dani Wagner poured in 22 points to lead the way.
