SAINT CLAIR — The Hayfield girls basketball team cranked up its defense as it beat Maple River (1-7 overall) 61-30 in the Saint Clair Invite Thursday.occasions

Jessi Foster led the Vikings (5-3 overall) with 19 points.

Hayfield will play Saint Clair Friday at 6:15 p.m.
