Joe Sir, as Elvis, will be playing a holiday tribute to The King this Saturday at the Paramount Theatre.

Elvis is alive at the Paramount

There’s going to be a lot of hip-swiveling and old-fashioned crooning going on at the Paramount Theatre this weekend.

Joe Sir will be at the Paramount for “The Elvis Tribune Show” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.

Sir first started performing Elvis songs at nursing homes when he wasn’t on the road with the Sir Brothers, a family band he was a part of since he was a child. After his family and friends noticed how talented he was as Elvis, he began to incorporate the tribute act into other shows.

“I just bought some tapes, bought a jacket, and next thing you know I was going around the Twin Cities,” Sir said.

The Elvis Tribute Show will encompass four eras in Elvis’s career, from his debut in the ’50s to his movie-star era, his gospel music and the ’68 Comeback Special to his time in Las Vegas.

Tickets are $14 in advance, $16 at the door.
