Athletics beat LeRoy-Ostrander boys

LYLE — The Lyle-Pacelli boys basketball had its primary starting five on the court together for the first time this season as they topped LeRoy-Ostrander 58-37 on the road Thursday.

The Athletics (2-2 overall, 2-1 SEC) committed just 14 turnovers, after giving the ball away 29 times Tuesday.

“We got our main five back together and as a team we looked a lot better,” LP head coach Casey Anderson said. “Matt Kasel isn’t putting up big numbers, but he’s doing what we need him to.”

Mitch Scaglione led LO (0-5 overall, 0-2 SEC) with 10 points.
