Stained glass art back at Senior Center

Published 10:51 am Saturday, November 3, 2012

Looking for an easy art project to do as an adult? Have you ever tried stained glass?

This project will not only help keep you busy for awhile, but it will also be a lovely decoration to give as a gift or hang in a window or outside during the spring and summer. Many people, young and old, have found a tremendous sense of healing, growth, and personal transformation through this mode of art.

Monday at 3 p.m. the Senior Center will be having a stained glass class. Jeff and Jane Peterson, stained glass professionals, will be at the Senior Center to walk you through making your own wind chime. Choose a design, suggestions are a frog, American flag or a butterfly and there will be as much help or as little help cutting it out as you need.
