Laura Mae (Frisbie) Solomonson was born Nov. 4, 1951, at Naeve Hospital in Albert Lea to Harold and Mary (Carter) Frisbie. Laura was a 1970 graduate of Lake Mills Community School. She married Roger Solomonson on Dec. 5, 1970. They were blessed with three children, Karrie, Kelly and Robin.

Laura was a homemaker and after her children were grown she continued her education at Albert Lea Vocational Technical Institute as a medical secretary. She worked as a secretary at various local businesses and also became a Mary Kay consultant and advanced to become a sales director.

Laura loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart and gave her all to everything she ever did. She enjoyed traveling, music, gardening, biking and sewing. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren however they wanted, she never had an agenda with them. Just sitting and loving on people was one of her greatest joys. There was always room on her lap for any of them. Laura loved to dance and have a great time laughing her way through many adventures. She chose to live her life on a daily basis. She will be greatly missed.

Laura is survived by her husband, Roger; daughters, Karrie (Bradley) Kjeldahl, Willmar, Kelly (Tony) Gau, Leland, and Robin (Bradlee) Thompson, Lake Mills; 11 grandchildren that were very precious to her, Aspen, Emerald and Trace Gau; Paige, Kylee Mae, Ella and Ethan Thompson; Elias, Piper, Josiah and Rosalie Mae Kjeldahl.
