David Leo Boley, 55, passed away at his home in Hayfield, Minn., on Nov. 12, 2012.

David Leo Boley was born on May 2, 1957, the son of Lawrence and Janet (Brewer) Boley in Corydon, Ind. He graduated from Southland High School in 1975. He was united in marriage to Janice Dahle, July 1975, and they were later divorced. He was united in marriage to Diane Boeff on June 11, 2011, in Hayfield, Minn. David worked for Laverne Bergstrom, Larson Products, Zimmerman AI, and for 25 years at Crenlo. He also farmed with Wayne Scherbring and Richard Jones. He was a member of the Southeastern Minnesota Tractor Pullers Association. David enjoyed motorcycling, and spending time with family and friends.

David is survived by his wife, Diane Boley, Hayfield; his parents, Lawrence and Janet Boley, Byron, Minn.; daughters, Jennifer (Thomas Winsky) Neville, Austin, Minn.; Jessica (Larry) Andrist, Sargeant, Minn.; sons, Jason Boley, Sargeant, Minn.; Jonathan Boley, Albert Lea, Minn.; step sons, Jamie Boeff, Hayfield; Jared (Melissa) Holtan, Hayfield; and Joshua Holtan, Hayfield; 14 grandchildren; one grandchild on the way; and one great-grandchild on the way; brothers and sisters, Darrell (Wanda) Boley, Dexter, Minn.; Kenny (Debbie) Boley, Byron; Cardy (Ron) Lewison, Houston, Minn.; Donna (Chuck) Jensen, Alexandria, Minn.; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his two grandsons, Kenneth and Brandon Boley; step daughter, Christina Holtan; and grandparents.

The funeral service for David will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Trinity Lutheran Church 104 First St. SE in Hayfield with the Rev. Paul Hauschild officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at the Czaplewski Family Funeral Home, 501 Second St. NW in Hayfield and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
