Counterfeit bill passed at Hy-Vee

Community Bank reported Saturday that Hy-Vee Foods in Austin received a counterfeit bill.
According to the police report, a Hy-Vee cashier received the fake $10 bill sometime on Friday, and the bill showed up at the bank on Saturday in the deposit.
The bill has been placed into the Austin Police Department’s evidence, and the case has been forwarded to detectives. There are no suspects.
