Local bird hunters will look to shoot down more than just pheasants this weekend. They’re also aiming at breast cancer.

Tri County Pheasants Forever is hosting a breast cancer awareness hunt on Three Arrows Hunting Preserve on Saturday, Oct. 6. Participants do not need a hunting license. Registration is $200 per couple; which must include at least one female. Each registrant will receive a T-shirt, lunch and bird cleaning.

Participants must wear blaze orange and may bring their own dogs; otherwise, dogs will be provided with a guide.
