Lisa Janning was chosen as Heat Up Minnesota’s new furnace recipient.

Janning, who lives in northeast Austin, was chosen after a friend submitted a story online about how she and her daughter were a deserving family. Lennox Industries donated the furnace, and employees at Greenman HVAC will donate their time Saturday to install it. Fox Electric has provided electrical wiring for the furnace.

Numerous entries were submitted at heatupminnesota.org, and a selection committee reviewed each. Three finalists were considered, and an inspection was performed on each of their properties.
