MADISON, Wis. — Catherine Wagner, an Austin grad who plays golf at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, was recently recognized by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, as an All-WIAC first team selection.

It was Wagner’s fourth time as an All-Conference Selection as she finished in second place at the WIAC Championship for the third straight year. Wagner was second on the Blugolds with an average of 80.5 strokes per round, playing 11 rounds in five tournaments. She finished in the top 10 at three tournaments, including twice in the top five.

She becomes the fourth individual in program archives to secure first team honors four consecutive years.
