KSMQ-TV lands area Emmy awards for three stories

KSMQ-TV is getting big accolades.
- KSMQ won four Emmys.
The local public television station earned four Midwest Regional Emmy Awards this year, three of which were for feature stories from KSMQ’s “Off 90” program. The awards are as listed:
—Informational/Instructional — Single Story: “Eggs as Art”
—Magazine Program — Single Story: “Amanda Hocking”
—Magazine Program — Single Story: “Mini Steve”
—Editor — Program (Non-News): “Off 90 Composite”
“These honors don’t occur in a vacuum,” KSMQ President Eric Olson said in a press release. “Everyone here plays a part in making KSMQ-TV the great shop that it is. It takes an environment where quality and teamwork is nurtured over time.”
