Worke notches 1,000th assist in win

RANDOLPH — Blooming Prairie sophomore Madison Worke picked up her 1,000th career assist as the Awesome Blossoms beat Randolph (2-12 overall) by scores of 25-15, 13-25, 25-18, 25-16 on the road Thursday.

Worke, who received the game ball, needed three assists for the milestone and she hit in the first game and finished with 23 on the night.

Taylor Hagen added six kills and nine blocks for BP (12-4 overall).
