Volleyball: Athletics beat Wolverines in five

GLENVILLE — The Lyle-Pacelli volleyball team picked up its first win of the season when it prevailed in five games against Glenville-Emmons (1-1 overall, 1-1 SEC) on the road Tuesday.

The Athletics (1-1 overall, 1-1 SEC) won by scores of 14-25, 25-14, 26-24, 15-25, 15-7.

LP trailed the third game and stormed back to win it by two.

“That was a big game,” LP head coach Lindsey Leif said. “In the games we got beat, it was our own errors and in the games we won, we came out played our game. We were aggressive.”
