Southgate Elementary School students raised more than $14,000 for its annual Walk-a-Thon, which took place Tuesday. The money will go towards special programs at the school, field trips, classrooms supplies, books, and playground improvements. After the school walked around the neighborhood, students enjoyed learning about health and fitness through kickboxing, Zumba, an outdoor obstacle course, and food/nutrition Jeopardy. Photo provided
