LEROY – The Grand Meadow volleyball team took seventh place in the LeRoy-Ostrander invite after it beat Glenville-Emmons 25-22, 25-19 Saturday.

Cortney Olson had six kills against the Wolverines for GM (10-9 overall), Autumn Thorsen had four aces and 13 assists, Audra Durhman had five kills, Theresa Gehling had six digs and Ashley Crumb five digs.

In pool play, Olson had five kills and Caitlyn Synder had two aces in a 25-21, 25-17 loss to Blooming Prairie; Thorsen had five aces and Olson had eight kills in a 25-12, 26-24 win over Hope Lutheran; Olson had eight kills and Thorsen had nine assists in a 25-16, 25-21 loss to Alden-Conger; Olson had three aces and four digs and Gehling had four digs in a 25-20, 25-17 loss to Alden-Conger.
