A felon allegedly in possession of a firearm was arrested Wednesday in Austin after police responded to a fight.

Officers went to the 600 block of First Ave. NW for a report of a large fight at 7:14 p.m., where they found Brian Bell, 25, of Milwaukee. Police arrested Bell as he is a felon and allegedly held a .25 caliber pistol and made threats to others during the fight. No others were arrested.

Bell is in the Mower County jail and the report has been forwarded to the Mower County Attorney’s office for a formal complaint and charges.
