FOOTBALL

Hayfield grad Evan Bungum is currently 22nd in the NJCAA with 274 yards receiving. Bungum, who plays for Rochester Community and Technical College has 11 catches and four touchdowns in his first season with the Yellowjackets.

Bungum had 163 yards receiving and two scores in Saturday’s 31-23 loss to Central Lakes College.

Grand Meadow grad Caleb Leichtnam had season-high eight tackles, including one for a loss and a pass break-up for RCTC (3-1 overall) against Central Lakes.

VOLLEYBALL

LeRoy-Ostrander grad Kaylee Bunne had four kills and three digs as St. Mary’s University swept Macalaster College in three games Sept. 12.

Bunne, who had three kills in a sweep of Bethany Lutheran for the Cards (6-4 overall), has 42 kills, 25 digs and she is second on the team with 18 blocks on the season.

SOCCER

Austin grad Martin Manocchio is one of three players to score a goal for Bethel University this season

Mannochio, who has started four games, has one goal on just one shot for the Royals (1-5 overall).

GOLF

Austin grad Catherine Wagner was named the Athlete of the Week for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s women’s golf team.

Wagner, who is the defending Division III national champion, led the Blugolds this weekend at the O’Brien National Invitational in Indiana, as she tied for third place out 63 golfers with 154 strokes. At the two-day event, the Blugolds came in fifth place out of 10 teams, all of which were teams in the top 15 in the latest Golf World/WGCA Top 25 poll.
