Pizza bandits on the loose

Two pizza bandits are allegedly on the loose in Austin.

According to the police report, the pizza heist happened at about 11:15 p.m. Friday near the 400 block of Fourth Avenue SE. Someone told the delivery man to deliver the pizza to a back door. When the delivery man arrived, two tall, black males in their early 20s allegedly yelled, “We’re here. Bring the pizza over here,” the victim said.

According to the report, the delivery man wondered if he was being set up. The two alleged thieves then told the delivery man to meet them at the back door of another townhouse in the area for payment; however, they took the pizzas — a $25.32 value — and never showed.

The delivery man returned to his car and noticed his wallet with credit cards and Droid X cell phone were also missing. Police have no suspects.

Well, two black men in Austin. . .that must narrow down the suspect list.

It was real short since the suspect used his own phone to call in the pizza order…
